Ava Wong, MPH is the current Program Manager of the HRSA-funded Sexual Nurse Assault Examiner (SANE) Program with the University of Arizona College of Nursing. She oversees the activities that support the training and certification of nurses to be SANEs in Region 9 (Arizona, Nevada, California, Hawai’i and the US Affiliated Pacific Islands). Ms. Wong holds a master’s in public health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health. She has over 12 years of experience in the field of public health as a research coordinator and project manager in both federal and non-federal agencies.
