Adenike Gbadebo is a licensed Family Nurse Practitioner and SANE-A certified Forensic Nurse Examiner with nearly 15 years of experience in the healthcare profession. As a forensic nurse and survivor of domestic violence, she is dedicated to improving the health outcomes of patients from marginalized communities, particularly those affected by violence. She currently serves as a nurse practitioner in an urgent care setting and as a forensic nurse in a hospital-based program. Adenike holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree in healthcare leadership from Chamberlain University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Aultman College of Nursing. Her notable accolades include the 2016 Aultman Hospital Keys to Success Award, the 2020 Aultman Outstanding Alumni Award, the 2023 Practicing from the Heart Award, and the 2024 You Make a Difference Award. Most recently she authored a peer reviewed paper published in the Journal of forensic Nursing regarding her Doctor of Nursing Practice Scholarly Project. Originally from Vancouver, Canada, she spent several years residing in Europe and currently resides in Ohio with her loving husband and four children.
