This session explores the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ survivors of sexual violence, with a focus on trauma-informed, gender-affirming care for transgender patients during medical forensic examinations. Topics include inclusive practices, anatomical considerations, and strategies to foster trust and mitigate re-traumatization.
