A peer-on-peer (PoP) Response Team is an approach to improving outcomes after assault by helping to ensure medical and mental health follow-up as well as ensuring that the systems involved have the information needed to respond to these incidents. Learn about an integrated model and engage in case study discussion.

Learning Outcomes:

Increased knowledge about:
  • the impact of peer-on-peer violence and reflect on the specific example of how a multidivisional, multidisciplinary response team impacts the youth experiencing violence.
  • areas for growth and development of an effective, strengths-based response to peer-on-peer violence through a robust case study discussion.
  • how to develop action steps for creating partnerships and collaborations to accelerate a strong response to peer-on-peer assault across disciplines and settings.
