Kathryn Loveless is a full time Forensic Nursing Coordinator for USA Health in the second largest city in the state of Alabama. She currently coordinates and facilitates the sexual assault program in the city of Mobile, and also serves as the SANE simulation coordinator for the states only IAFN nationally approved skills lab in the Southeast Gulf Coast region. She also serves as the Co-Project Director and Training Coordinator for the SKIPS Pediatric Maltreatment grant awarded by the Office of Victims of Crime where her focus is to develop the Gulf Coast's first pediatric maltreatment program. Kathryn holds dual certification in her adult-adolescent-pediatric SANE practice and her main focus is to incorporate forensic nursing and trauma informed care throughout the entire health system to take the unnecessary trauma out of the healthcare setting. She recently graduated with her Master's in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and plans to continue practicing forensic nursing as a family nurse practitioner.
