Ellen Frerich is the Project Manager with the Re LAB Strengthening Forensic Nursing Program. As a SANE trained nurse with a strong background in trauma-informed care and health equity, her focus has been to support these areas for forensic nurses. Before becoming a nurse, her background was in public policy and social work. As a nurse, Frerich has worked in hospital, clinic, and public health settings with a focus on trauma-informed care and sustainable systems of support for health care workers and those they serve.
