Ashley Tuttle, DNP, APRN, CNM, SANE-A, is a Forensic Nurse at St. Luke's Health System and is a Certified Nurse Midwife at Samuel Rodger's Clinic in Kansas City. She is a doctorally prepared nurse-midwife that graduated from the University of Kansas. As a nurse, she have worked in a variety of nursing areas such as midwife ran ambulatory clinic, emergency, labor and delivery, postpartum, med-surg, and psychiatry.
Ashley focuses on education, and loves educating patients, the public, and other healthcare providers. She has taught childbirth, breastfeeding, newborn care, CPR, first-aid, trauma informed care, and trauma informed pelvic exam classes. Trauma informed care is her passion. Through her doctoral program she created a tool for how to perform trauma-informed pelvic exams in the emergency department.
