Tammy Bimber, DNP, RN, CEN, SANE-A, SANE-P, NYSAFE, is a Forensic Nurse Preceptor at The Wellness and Forensic Center and Warren General Hospital. Dr. Bimber is also an expert SANE for the Duquesne University ANE-SANE program, a consultant for the International Association of Forensic Nurses, and an adjunct nursing instructor at Jamestown Community College. Dr. Bimber has spent over 25 years specializing in forensic nursing and emergency medicine. She is certified as a SANE-A (Adolescent/Adult), SANE-P (Pediatric), and a New York Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (NYSAFE). Dr. Bimber is a member of various committees in Pennsylvania, including the Sexual Assault Evidence Collection Advisory Committee.
Dr. Bimber has presented at various local, state, and national conferences and has received recognition and awards for her work in forensic nursing. She has authored and co-authored journal articles and a book chapter on forensic nursing and child abuse screening, and was featured in an NSVRC blog for Forensic Nurses Week. 
Dr. Bimber completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, her Master of Science in Nursing from California University of Pennsylvania, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice at Waynesburg University.
