Mackenzie Weiland (she/her), MSN, ARNP, WHNP-BC, SANE-A, is a passionate trauma-informed dually board-certified Women’s and Gender Health Nurse Practitioner and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner. At present, she is a nurse practitioner at Planned Parenthood (GNHAIK) providing family planning, gender affirming, pregnancy option, abortion, and sexual and reproductive healthcare to all. Additionally, Mackenzie is a full-scope forensic nurse for the Providence Intervention Center for Assault and Abuse (PICAA), a newly distinguished Forensic Nursing Center for Excellence by the IAFN. She has served as an adjunct professor at Seattle University and routinely trains new nurses, advanced practice providers, and medical residents through preceptorship, academia, and skills training events. Mackenzie has earned a B.S. in Biology and Behavioral Neuroscience from Centre College, a BSN from Emory University, and a MSN in Women’s and Gender Related Health from Emory University. She is currently based out of Everett, WA.
