Lauren Orr, MSN, RN, CEN, CPEN, CA-SANE, SANE-A, is currently both a forensic nurse and clinical nurse educator working in Dallas, TX. She received a Bachelor's in Public Health from the University of Arizona, before transitioning to nursing and receiving her BSN from Texas Christian University. She obtained her MSN in Nursing Education from Texas Woman's University just this past year.
Lauren is passionate about public health which has shaped the way she practices her nursing care. This background has helped her focus on the patient as a whole and more than just their medical complaint. She is a strong advocate for women's rights, and strives to improve outcomes of sexual assault patients through her emergency department.
